This forum also aims in aiding professionals from allied fields such as architecture, construction, sociology, planning, conservation and disaster mitigation to interact with structural engineers to make our habitat and that of the future generations to come, a better and safer place for the benefit of society at large." [Note that the name of the organisation is changed wef 1st April 2010. "Engineers" word is replaced by "Engineering" hence new name is "Structural Engineering Forum of India"
