Alternatives of Steel reinforcement like Basalt reinforcement bars, what are the possibilities of it being accepted for construction in current Indian scenario.

The TMT bars do not get damaged during transportation, you dont need to worry on that, what you should be more concerned is during bending TMT bar. Make sure to not compromise the anti-rust coationg.

You would have to recalculate before changing grades. Have you tried any other vendors. As long as you use relevant brands you could change brands, much easier than changing grades.
