dear frnd,
U can reduce the grade of concrete but reducing the grade of steel will be of no use. u can reduce the Area of steel in upper storeys.

There is one software called DECAPLOT which uses staad output file and gives the steel area in DWG format.... it is the best software availble i can say ... i hv been using it for past ... |

just do 1 thing.. change Y up in INPUT FILE and then use the combination of ROTATE and MIRROR COMMAND to adjust ... |
