Av = (2/3)*(Z*I)/(2*R)*(2.5)
and define vertical earthquake EQv
EQv = Av*(DL+reduced.LL)
... use this EQv in place of 'ELz' in the combinations described ... |

I wounder how the 0.3*Q was arrived at in the seismic case. I presume the 0.3, was probably the live load reduction, as with IS:1893-2000 (where the reduction was allowed for design load cases too).
