Dear All:

You must be experiencing the new format of the SEFI mail and the new SEFI website. There a few glitches/errors but this is the beta version and we would welcome all comments to make it better.

I would like to introduce Sanjeev Kumar to all of you who is now managing and upgrading the site for us. Sanjeev is a civil engineer from IIT Kanpur and has always been a big supporter of SEFI. The move from the earlier platform to the new one has involved a lot of time and other resources

I hope that SEFI subscribers will appreciate this and pitch in. All contributions will be publicly acknowledged. Sanjeev also has numerous products lined up in the future which would help SEFI and its users.

Dear Ms. Alpa Sheth,

I would like to appreciate you and all those involved with the redesigning of SEFI web site,especially Mr. Sanjeev Kumar of IIT K for this new look of SEFI site. I know that it is tough for professional engineers like you to spend time on such projects, which are for the benefit of fellow Engineers. The work you are dong is really great. Keep it up! I am sending an email to my office asking them to support this cause.

Previously, I used to get daily digest and now I get each and every posting. Do I have to go to the SEFI site and change the setting?

What's the difference between a SEFI Member and a SEFI Stars?

We have recently introduced Ranks and Sponsor Badges which are based various levels of participation.

It depends on number of posts made in the history of SEFI.

We will be putting detailed information shortly. Currently its experimental.

Dear Alpa
Thanks a lot for all those who have devoted a lot of their experience and time for giving this site. We feel like a fist of engineers today and no matter where we live, we are able to enhance our experience and share our knowledge with the learned and highly intelligent engineers on the globe. In my state very less engineers are familiar to this site and everyday I try to widen their minds by letting them know the site. But we may have some problems of not being high tech but I am sure your efforts will bring fruits and we here too shall be benifited with the knowledge of other fellow engineers.
