Hello pratik
why do you want to connect the two units?

Dear Sefians,
I am designing a
(GF+4)residential unit in zone V, having two identical annexes 5m apart. Is
it advisable to tie both the annexes only at terrace level through tie
beams ? What would be the behaviour of the annexes (if tied at terrace
level) in case of earthquake? Which is the ideal place for tie? Kindly give
your responses with justification.
Thanks and regards from
Pratik Joshi
