I have been able to analyze prismatic beams in ANSYS APDSL mechanical.. the problem is the real constants get applied to the whole view and not to a single object..how to assign properties for every single part separately.this sum is a part of exercise in a book called INTRODUCTION TO ANSYS by  R B CHAUDHARY
