My doubt is how can i do the analysis for a fabric in two different plane in staad .I tried using mesh generation but its not working since its not in the same plane is there any solution for this problem please help me

I would recommend using different software for tensile fabric design. The output can then be imported into STAAD for columns/support design.

The suppliers use special software for analysis of tensile fabric structures in which the patterning and forming can also be done automatically.  The analysis is done by breaking the fabric into different subsections as per pattern  (similar to mesh generation) for static and dynamic analysis.
I remember using Membrane NDN software for a stadium project.

You can contact the vendor for analysis of your project.

Dear Er Mukkaden,

STAAD will not be suitable for the very large geometric nonlinearity of the fabric structure (to the best of my knowledge). Hence, you would be best advised to use a high end FE package or even better, to go in for experiment driven design (model study).
