hi all,

i have completed my M tech in structure and i have total 6+ years of experience out of which 4 years in offshore fixed structure analysis and design and 2 years of site work. we don't have much projects in offshore. i want to switch my current industry to either in software development where i can use my design knowledge or want to do something new .
i request u all to suggest me some industry or give me some new ideas for my career growth.

thank you

Er.Nilesh,

Offshore Structural Engineers are very well paid and they are always in Demand.

Learn everything pertaining to various types of  offshore structural analysis and design.

Hence my suggestion is to be there for couple of years more and look for opportunities in the Offshore wind power/energy industry. Another option would be to Switch over to Solar power Industry.

Very soon everyone would switch over to Solar power Induatry,If not to entirely to wind energy, I suppose.

Kind Regards,

Raja Shekar.
