Dear Admin,
It is time for SEFI moves into the webinar culture to spread awareness and knowledge that the members of the group possess in abundance. I request you to hereby provide a feature wherein members can provide regular (monthly/weekly) talks on the topic of their choice or a lecture series and interact live with the participants. It will not only facilitate faster updates in codes but also in bringing up the quality of future structural engineers by giving access to accessing such abundance of knowledge and become a new-age knowledge sharing platform. |

Dear Er Solanki
It is a good suggestion. In addition, SEFI should collaborate with ECI and give continuing education credit hours for attending the webinars.

Thank you Subramanian sir for endorsing the idea and adding to it as well. Another addition I was hoping we can do here is mentoring services for young engineers like me from industry and academic experts like yourself similar to what ASCE is providing. Sir, your books have guided us for so long but your lectures will have a wider impact and reach due to the rapid digitization brought by the pandemic and will definitely be beneficial to all interested parties. I hope our admin can look into it. |

Well, dear engineers, contacts with engineers can be practically conducted using FaceBook, Youtube & linking to Linkedin etc.
These are very useful social mediums
Long talks can be broadcast, using FaceBook
Long Talks can also, be recorded, using Youtube
Dr NS has already been performing that service for entire world
Even, using FaceBook, Screenshare can be conducted, so that what is intended for, can be shown to public & talked to of course, in that case, presenter's face shall not be visible
Screenshare limits to broadcast with just one format whatever it could be, but it is really useful
If services providers signals do not matter & transmissions work continuously, without causing any accidental break, many hours long videos can be broadcast live
I have tried in many cases up to 5 hours continuous relay live
So far, around 1000 live videos have been published, out of which stuff, many hundreds pertain to engineering
Just use all these free services & disseminate engineering information world wide
As far as, valuation is related, do not worry about that, because it is engineering & every work varies
Make yourself institutions & forget useless institutions like many
These institutions have failed entirely to an extent quality of working & systems formations are related
It is only engineers, who on individual basis, can change entire scenario
Therefore, Lead self, so that others may look towards you for being lead |

| In today's instant communication world with such facilities , Webinars be made a regular feature for budding engineers to attend live , see proceedings later as per individual convenience . |
