Dear Sir/Madam,
Sustainable development is the foremost concern in the world today with climate change and its unpredictable effects causing havoc all over. Steel, as a major material of construction, can contribute to these goals of sustainability in a major way. The positive attributes of steel need adequate deliberation and propagation among designers, consultants and experts.
To create greater awareness regarding usage of steel the Institute for Steel Development & Growth (INSDAG), the Consulting Engineers Association of India Western Regional Centre (CEAI-WRC) and the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) have organised a one-day Workshop on "Steel - for Sustainable Development" on the 4th February 2023.
The venue is the Victor Menezes Convention Centre at IIT Bombay, Mumbai.
The key objectives of this workshop are to discuss and deliberate on the latest methods of construction and technologies of the steel industry, and their advantages on achieving sustainable development goals. It will also focus on creating awareness amongst potential customers about the application and benefits of steel usage in construction and infrastructure.
You can participate in the workshop and offer your valuable inputs on this important topic. We also request you to nominate your colleagues to participate in this workshop.
