Hello everyone,

I noticed that many of the posts regarding the fees charged by structural consultants are from 2012, and since it's been quite a while, I was wondering if there have been any significant changes in the industry. Can anyone provide insights on the current fee rates that structural consultants are charging in 2025?
I believe it’s crucial for everyone in the field to be on the same page, especially in terms of standard pricing. If you can share your recent experiences or industry standards, that would be greatly appreciated.

Structural Consultancy Fee :-

This must be commensurate to efforts put in for Analysis, Design, Drafting efforts, checking efforts plus overheads on Men and machines ( hardwares & softwares) , Office rental and other recurring expenses.

Professionals despite highly qualified,, are not paid at par and sometimes survival of consultancies cause very low quotations.

But I think ,  there needs to be some criterion.

Those here on sefi having their consultancy offices can really say on this based on ground realities.

Structural consultancy on Building works is totally dependent on associate Architects.

Bridge Consultancy depend on Bridge Contractors who  , with structural consultants quote.

Enlisting with Govt Departments for Design services also help.
