You may read the following link of google book

http://books.google.co.in/books?id=zraEpIyEpCYC&pg=PA73&lpg=PA73&dq=sika%2Bstrengthening+existing+beam&source=bl&ots=ssThO_tZOv&sig=DCbQB7rCupk-bOfjNdgsRII9wBY&hl=en&ei=zrSSTtevMMfJrAfsr7CwAQ&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CCEQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=sika%2Bstrengthening%20existing%20beam&f=false

Also you can consult companies like SIKA etc..they have got the technology  to strength existing beams by pasting steel plates to the existing beam.

Sir,
Strengthening  a column is easier than strengthening a beam and footing. The beam have already bottom reinforcement. We can increase the reinforcement or width of beam. Increasing the depth of beam is tedious and difficult job. Expertise is required for suck  job. Adequacy of column have to be  checked for load due beam.
