As I posted the different types of reinforcing bars, there are also different types of concrete used for specific purpose. I list some of them and Senior can put more information on this so that it will be a knowlegde base information to every one.
1.We have ORDINARY CONCRETE UPTO 60 MPa.
2.SHRINKAGE COMPENSATING CONCRETE
3. HIGH STRENGTH CONCRETE ABOVE 60 MPa-1OOmPA.
4. ULTRA HIGH PERFORMANCE CONCRETE(REACIVE POWDER CONCRETE).
5.SELF CONSOLIDATING(COMPACTING) CONCRETE.
6. BIOLOGICAL CONCRETE.
7.CHIPPING CONCRTE.
8.FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE.
9.SPRAYED CONCRETE.
10.LUNAR CONCRETE.
11.CALCIUM HYDROXIDE CONCRETE.
12.TREMMIE CONCRETE.
13. SILICA FUME CONCRETE.
14. ANY  OTHER MAY BE INFORMED BY SENIORS.

LIKE THE REINFORCING BARS, NEED TO KNOW:
1.RELEVANT IS CODES.
2. DESIGN CONSTANTS.
3. ANY HB FOR DESIGN OF MEMBERS SPECIALLY FOR HSC-ABOVE 40MPa.
4. EXACT PLACE WHERE IT COULD BE USED.
5. WEB SITE GIVING THE EXACT DEFINITION.

It will be an interesting one  to know the above for the young engineers and do more research on this.

T.Rangarajan.

Note: 1.
Even though I know that there will be less response and some times no response  I would like to bring the above including the different types of rebars to the attention of all to know. If anybody respond my advance thanks for spending lot of my time and effort.
Note 2:
Shrinkage compensating concrete is added in the list

FERROCEMENT CONCRETE:

As nobody responded I start with A PDF file on FERROCEMENT IN CONSTRUCTION which describes the use of it and many technical data.

Attached and can be downloaded.

HIGH PERFORMANCE CONCRETE STRUCTURAL DESIGNER'S GUIDE:

A very good reference manual for the design of HPC which gives many tech. data.

Attached.

Dear Er Rangarajan,

Though I appreciate your enthusiasm in uploading as many files as possible on all subjects related to structural design, I fell that most of the different types of concretes you listed in your first posting on this topic, are used in some special applications only or in the research stage only. Even if some one wishes to use them, provisions are not available in building codes and they have to employ research organizations for their mix design and evaluation. Hence instead of simply uploading, you may upload when someone asks for it. Note many may not have time to read all the magazines or articles that are available, but may seek them only when necessary.

Regards
Subramanian

Dear Er Rangarajan,

Sorry. I forgot to inform my comments: I went through the two articles. Prof. Shah 's paper will be useful to novice on Ferrocement and the HPC Guide is good but will be of limited use to many of us as 95% of constructions in India are using NSC only. UHPC is used very rarely.

Regards
Subramanian

Sir,

You want me to continue as per this mail or cut short as per your previous mail. Hope this is your opinion but I will adhere and I want many people to have knowledge about them .

Sir, I do not fully agree with you since HPC is used in Delhi Metro Monorail project and many other projects are I hope executing with HPC and even SCC is on its way. Also I would like to bring to your kind attention that the Ferrocement technic is used for the building front elevations with Chicken mesh and laying screed in roofing and many other application say for partition inside where it is required of very small thickness and many more.

Spay concret-(Guniting) I  remember is being used in Hydro project for Tunnels in India and it is one of the repair materials that can be used for overhead and other applications.

Of course UHPC may be new born baby but has to be known for our future.

Anyway I await your response either to continue posting or not.

Thanks for your comment.

T.Rangarajan.

Dear Dr.N.S Sir,
In continuation of my reply posting I forgot to mention that BMTC of Govt. of India organisation is manufacturing machines for FERROCEMENT CONCRETE.This also sent as an information.

Dear Dr.N.S Sir,
In continuation of my previous replies I am to add that the Ferrocement is being used for Tsunami projects and even using the Bamboo with cement-Ferrocement method for the small housing projects. Kindly go though the FIRST INTERNATIONAL PROCEEDINGS ON BAMBOO STRUCTURES in which you will find  wonderful articles on Bamboo Ferrocement methods. I send some information of the above proceeding under the topic SUSTAINABILITY Design.

Still I am with you to adhere to stop posting after I hear from you.

With Best Regards,
T.Rangarajan.

Dear Dr.N.S,
In continuation of my previous replies to your remark on the usage of various types of concrete I have a future VISION of the Sefi Forum which will stay for a long duration will have a Bank of Information where future  younger generation and present younger generation can learn any thing that they can not get from the experienced Engineers like you and get information any time through the Sefi forum.

You may be knowing more than any body else but engineer like me what to know more at least through a forum like this. As you posted before LEARNING CURVE will go on.

Still you want me to stop inputting the technical materials I have no other alternative since you are the NUCLEUS of Sefi forum. Then I will then become a spectator and silent observer of SEFI.

Once again I thank you very much for your kind comments and advice.

With Best regards,
T.Rangarajan.
