do we have any codal procedures to evaluate the performance of the building during ground excitation. ?

Dear Er. Gornale,
In USA we use the following documents for Strength Evaluation of Existing Structures:
SEI/ASCE 11-99 Guideline for Structural Condition Assessment of Existing Buildings
SEI/ASCE 41-06 Seismic Rehabilitation Of Existing Buildings.
ASCE 31-03: Seismic Evaluation of Existing Buildings.

As far as I know IS codal provisions are not available for estimating performance point of building during ground excitation. You can refer ATC-40, FEMA-273,FEMA-356 for the same.
