Institute for Steel Development & Growth (INSDAG), Kolkata is organizing a Training programme on Advanced Steel Design with Limit State on May 23 – 24, 2013


At  Visveswaraya Seminar Hall, Building Science Block, Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Chennai.


This course is termed as “advance”, with the idea that the participants are acquainted with the basics of Limit State methodology of Structural design.
Main focus will be laid on “Connections” (Bolted and Welded), “Plated Girders” and “Fundamentals of Earthquake” and “Design and Detailing for Earthquake Loads”.

The course will benefit the Structural Design Engineers.
Study Material/Proceedings will be distributed to the participants. Participants may carry the related Codes if they desire as codes will NOT be distributed in the programme
