help please;
I am checking on a slab design using safe v12. I am using finite element based due to irregular slab shape. very high steel area is required at peaks If the "Rebar Averaging At Peaks" box is not selected, however much lower values are required when "Rebar Averaging At Peaks" is selected. what should I do , and how the "Max. Averaging Width" is calculated or how it must be considered?
Many thanks. |

as per my opinion, As you will be providing reinforcement per meter, you should average per meter width. |
