Dear Sefi'ans,

Many of colleagues in the field / seniors / juniors, ask me about Part
Time / Correspondence - Diploma / Degree / PG Degree / Doctorate etc. But in
India very few colleges offer such Part Time / Correspondence Course viz.
Sardar Patel College of Engg-Mumbai etc. One more institute from Rajastan
offers a Correspondence course in Engineering (Deemed to Directorate of
distance education).

Can any body tell, which are the other institutes offering such part time /
correspondence courses and how much reliable they are?

Regards

Dear Mr. Abhyankar,

As per my knowledge, there is a distance learning college attached to the
Govt Polytechnic Pune offering correspondence Diploma in many engineering
branches.

Also, Cusrow Wadia Inst of tech, Pune has Part-time Degree in Civil, Mech,
Elect and Electronics engineering.

regards,

Upendra

Dear Mr. Abhyanker

One can take admission in Part Time Course in Jadavpur University, Calcutta
after completion of diploma in engineering. The Jadavpur University offers
the

5 years part time bachelor of engineering in the Civil, Mechanical and
Electrical engineering branch. There is an entrance examination for taking
admission to the part time course and the syllabus for the entrance test
includes all the major subjects in diploma engineering course.

With Regards

Somsubhra Roy.
