Dear All,
presently i am dealing with post tensioned girder design. For pre-stress losses, we need to consider shrinkage loss. As per IRC:112-2011, we need to check shrinkage loss due to drying shrinkage & autogenous shrinkage. For autogenous shrinkage, we have to follow equation 6.12 & 6.13 as per IRC-112,2011. The equation for E = B (t) * Ecw.
B (t) = 1-exp(-0.2*sqrt(t)). by using loss values comes to high compare to IRC:18-2000.
I feel, we have equation of B (t) as, B (t)= exp(-0.2*sqrt(t)).
Please give valuable suggestion for same.
Also, please mentioned any reference book in which design is carried out as per IRC:112-2011.
Thanks lot,
Maulesh |
