Dear all SEFIans,

I have 2 queries:

1) I am simulating pile load test results in PLAXIS 3D by modeling soil with Mohr-Coulomb Model. Is this model valid for ultimate load? or Should I use allowable load?

2) Is the allowable load criteria given in IS 2911 empirical? Is that too conservative to use? If so, which different code/s can be used?
