|
|
Respected Engineers,
Kindly help regarding design of steel beam
1. How to improve the strength of beam if it is failed by lateral torsional buckling?
2. Differentiate the lateral buckling effect in laterally supported and laterally unsupported beam?
3. For design of steel beams, how to consider to the sagging effect of beam due to self weight of beam itself during erection phase of construction? How to arrest this sagging effect if span is too long?
4. What is the maximum span of beam ('I' Section and 'Channel' Section) to be considered without sagging effect (Although it carry only light load after erection) during erection process of steel beam?? |
