Dear all,
I have modelled a building in staad 2006 and have followed the procedures of applying load in conventional manner.
I have also applied the seismic loads, unfortunately I am not able to run the file. I am getting an error write check soft story. even though I have written I am not able to run the file.
Help me to run the file

Hi
You need to define the Floor Heights before the definition of 1893 load and also the "check soft storey" command is to be placed at the end of the 1893 weight definitions.
The modified file is attached.
You can also use the Rigid Diaphragms to have more accurate results. |
