Hello All
There was the discussion going on " speed of str . engg. " for last
some days.
I was thinking speed is relative term which depends on the appropriateness
of
people involved in any work. In that process i was thinking abt how the
people
are recruited by companies.
Most MNCs chooses to recruit people through their employees (i.e. from the
CVs
forwarded by their employees) & even they pay some incentive to that
employee
if his candidate is selected. I thought the companies will get good workers
as their
employees will be referring to only good; hard working
..................etc. persons.

That may be perfect system in their (companies) parent countries.
Whether this system is equally applicable to India? Because we know that
there is very much nepotism here. does companies not know this.
why they ask for references?..........

what are views of others.

regards

Mukesh Upadhyay

Hi,
I do agree with the views of Mr. Upadhyaya.Nepotism and casteism are the major hurdles over the quality in more than fifty percent of cases as far as favourable recommendations are concerned.
