Please specify your mail address. Will contact on mail. All silo designs are specific and process oriented with material characteristics, flowability and process needs. Good books are available including the one you have specified. Silo design is a job with concentration and understanding as special structure.
Best Regards.

Please be informed that we need to understand.
Each Silo is a icon structure and analysing and designing is a proud feel once done.
- First process
- Then material and its characteristics and its flow ability.
- lining requirement.
- Need of storage in terms of volume.
- In plant process and flow basic dimensions, height etc are in guiding principle defined.
- Feeding details and system process.
- Evacuation process.
- Possibility of slip form working in case of concrete silo.
- Review to need of optional steel silo.
- Reference IS codes to material needs.
- Reference books are available.
- ETAB and STAAD can do the analysis and required Excel to design can be done.
- All are generated to problem based and in general terms are not Advisable.
Unless your problem is opened, shared, review is not that easy please.
Any designer has to design with dedication, understanding and feel of the Silo structure.
You may have to share the problem.

Dear Er Prabhjot,
Silo design is a specialized subject. Silos should not be designed by a novice by looking into any design given in any standard book. Several silo failures have occurred in the past.
