In refinery, we are going for blastproof control room. It is made with RCC wall with minimum of opening. The entrance should be made indirect to ensure that if there is blast near the entrance, it should not affect the control room inside resulting safety to the equipment & personnel inside the room. A detail design procedure is available in CALTEX STANDARD, Volume-VIII.I think there is BIS also but No. I don't remember, can anybody please give the same.
