Code requires to consider unfactored (factor 1) gravity load for overturning and sliding check. Generally gravity load provide stabilizing moment and sliding resistance for such checks.

My query is:

(1) what shall be load factor for live load (0, 1 or part)
(2) what shall be load factor for dead load (0.9 or 1)
(3) what is multiplying factor 2.5 for seismic case. Is it over strength factor
