Plz correct me if i am wrong for following case:

Building height above podium/basement/ground = 45 m
Two basements (each 3.5 m height)                    = 7 m

(1) If podium is separated from tower by seismic joint :

Building height as per IS:1893 & IS:16700 = 45+7= 52 m
Applicable code - IS:16700
No need to consider backstay effect

(2) If podium is connected with tower and confined by basement wall:

Building height as per IS:1893 & IS:16700 = 45 m
Applicable code - IS:1893
Note : Consideration of backstay effect by sensitivity analysis depends on structural engineer / client's choice.
