|

Lately i have seen an advertisement of 'Now houses as strong as bridges'
Isn't these a crossing of morality, as for the needs of a safer homes are not only dependent on the strength of reinforcement bars. These misleading ads can create a wrong information about reinforcement bars to the common public |

I do share your emotions on this subject, bu alas unless people can be educated and reasoned with why they do not need houses as strong as bridges and how TMT bars used for bridges is not the right choice for homes is a steep step no one will bother. Strength is an easy factor to project and communicate with the common man whereas strength and ductility is not.
The only solution lies in the hands of choosing quality civil engineers |
