|
|
I am Ratna Kishore pursuing my masters in Structural Engineering Design at CEPT University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Currently,I am in the third semester of my masters and working in my projects regarding Heavy-duty steel structures and stack like structures. I completed my 2 academic projects in RCC structures.
I did my internship in Mahimtura Consultants, Mumbai where I involved in 2 major ongoing Projects.
So my next thing to do is research/capstone project & my last semester which will start from the end of Dec or first Jan tentatively. As a part of course, curriculum students should go for Capstone project/Thesis in their last semester (Jan’20-Apr’20).
I wanted to extend my research by doing that in Heavy Duty Steel Structures and flexible to do explore any division in it. My major interest is to go for the research which relates and needs the current heavy-duty industry.
Also I need if some guidance regarding the scope and any good guidance if I can get to do the thesis under. I feel privileged if I can get an opportunity of doing a capstone or Thesis under competent guidance.
The below-listed topics are my areas of interest and through which I came up with some topics which need to improve in terms of selection, scope & exploration.
Also, I am flexible to assist/help you if you have any research ideas or doing any research in Heavy Duty Steel Structures.
- Any research needed in Seismic analysis in the steel industry (For Eg: Non-Linear Analysis in Steel Structures) as per industry requirement. (needed some guidance for the selection of topics.)
- Any research needed in Material Handling Plants/Power plants/Any Heavy Duty Steel Structures. (needed some guidance for the selection of topics.)
- Moment Resisting Frames & Panel zone Behaviour in Steel. (needed some competent guidance for exploration.)
- Lateral Load Resistance Efficiency by the provision of various types of Eccentric Bracings in steel structures. (needed some guidance for improvement of topic.)
- Progressive Collapse Analysis in Steel Structures. (needed some guidance for the scope of the topic)
- Belt & Outriggers - Truss System in High Rise Buildings.
- Seismic Analysis in both RCC & Steel High rise Structures. (needed some guidance for the selection of topics.)

|
|
Dear Er. Ratna Kishore ,
Lot of work will be done in India and USA with Planning and Designing of SMART CITIES . Reference is given here :
FROM LATEST ASCE SMART BRIEF : 24th Oct. 2019 :
The key to landing smart city contracts lies with BIM
Building information management is transforming smart city construction and changing the way multidisciplinary project teams collaborate at every stage.
According to recent research, smart cities are expected to swell into a multi-trillion dollar market within the next several years, primarily driven by governments investing in technology to keep up with urbanization and its related challenges, like the need for improved energy infrastructure and more effective ways of dealing with vehicles.
all the building elements from the planning phase to completion is only possible with advanced tools that provide insight to more efficiently plan, design, construct and manage buildings and infrastructuhe research also found that a major area of growth will continue to come from the smart building segment, which is the building block for all smart city development. Keeping pace with smart city development and the required level of collaboration necessary to connect all the building elements from the planning phase to completion is only possible with advanced tools that provide insight to more efficiently plan, design, construct and manage buildings and infrastructure .
Regards.
