Hi All,

Can anyone share a design example of a warehouse etc where we have concrete columns with parallel chord truss

You can design the parallel-chord truss and the RCC columns that support it separately. The columns can be designed for top free end condition (though on conservative side) for the maximum support reaction transmitted by the truss. If there is more complication in your structure, please post a diagram here.

I do not find any complication in your structure. Since the span of the parallel-chord truss is 30m, a deeper one may be necessitated. A horizontal tie is advisable to be provided at some depth below the apex of the truss (A-shape). The RCC columns can be designed for maximum compression and tension, if any arises, as obtained from the truss support reaction for various DL/LL/WL combination cases. You may ask any further clarification in this regard.
