Good Morning All

Can anybody help me out with design of Foot Suspension bridge or Mule Suspension  Bridge over a gap of 300 mtr connecting Two valleys. STEEL WIRE ROPE should be preferred.

.
PS: I'm located in one of the remotest corners of the country. A foot suspension bridge or a mule suspension br is required to connect two villages. The gap is around 300 mtr and construction of pier in between cannot take place because of heavy flow in the river flowing below.
Backspace of around 20 mtr is available at both end.
Materials preferred: Steel wire rope, structural steel, and concrete for abutments and wooden planks for pathway.

Thank you.

The design example of a small span (50m) foot-suspension bridge enclosed. 300m is a large span and you may have to carry out dynamic analysis also, I think. Anyway, you can understand the rudiments of its design for static forces, from this example.
