I am analyzing a bridge deck slab in Staad Pro. The slab section is not rectangular but some irregular tapered sections. I made a solid element of the desired dimensions in AutoCAD, saved it in dxf format, imported it to the section wizard of Staad Pro which convert would it into a .upt file. This utp file would then be used for assigning to the desired beam. Now the problem is that when I import this in the section wizard of Staad Pro it shows,"Import Error".https://showbox.bio/ https://tutuapp.uno/ https://vidmate.cool/ Even if by some chance if it got imported, the solid element would look like a single line and not the custom made tapered section in the rendered view. After searching a number of forums I came across a few points:
1. The rendered view is not possible as the imported dxf file does not translate the 3D coordinates. If the same are provided then it might become possible to view the element in rendered view
2. The dxf file is not suitable for solid elements.
If the above mentioned points are true then how can I go about this issue?
3.The versions I use are AutoCAD 2014, dxf file is AutoCAD 2013 DXF and Staad.Pro V8i (SELECT series
