Dear sefians,
What are the Floor load intensities for each of the following?
1. Floor Finish
2. False ceiling
3. Electrical Conduits
4. A/C Conduits
will 2 kN/m2 enough for all of these together..? |

Hi hishamajmalpc,
1) Floor finish loads basically depend on what type of flooring you are providing. Based on my experience, a minimum of 0.2kN/m2 is needed for flooring with clay tiles. If your flooring is some structural kind, then a minimum of 1.5kN/m2 must be considered.
2) False Ceiling load basically ranges from 0.5 - 0.75kN/m2. which again depends on your project specification.
3) Electrical conduits and A/C conduits together can be considered as 1 kN/m2.
All together you may considered 2.0kN/m2.
However, after saying all this, you as an engineer, always use your discretion to fix the loads before commencing any project/job.
