|
|
Dear Sefians,
While calculating the thermal expansion of the concrete slab, A*(T1-T2), the values of T1 & T2 are
a) The temperatures on inside & outside face of slab at given time instance?
OR
b) The max and min temperature over a period of say one year?
I am really confused!!
I think it should be "a" as in case of "b", the thermal stresses will develop over a period of time & will ease out due to cracks?
BS8110 part 2 do not explicitly define T1 & T2...
Your help in this matter would be highly appreciated.
Regards, Saurabh
