Dear All,

Could pl. explain me foundation settlement limits given by codes for

1) Buildings

2) Static equipements

3)Rotating equipements.

If any codal provision or standard is available for the same?

Refer IS 1904 : 1986 Code of practice for design and construction of foundations in soils: general requirements Table -1

for "Permissible differential settlement and tilt (Distortion) for shallow foundation in soil"
