I am hereby attaching some materials pertaining to blast resistant construction.
Blast resistant construction is basically done in major projects like nuclear plants, oil refinery etc for buildings like control room, substations satellite rack rooms etc.
hope this material is useful..this will give you ideas about the basics of design.

Dear Friends,

I have gone through both the literatures.

First Attachment - It gives general idea and philosophy for the blast resistant design, beginner can refer this to under basic philosophy.
Second Attachement - This is good one but will require prior knowledge. This can be referred as specialized literature upto some extent.

Ideally one who is interested in blast resistant design should refer to following literatures
1. Introduction to Structural Dynamics by Biggs.
2. ASCE manual for blast resistant design in Petrochemical facilities.
3. IS 4991: 1968 - Though it has not been revised for long time, but still it is useful upto some extent.

Regards,
Yogesh Pisal
