THe concrete can be said as old after the final setting.

Even I fully agree with Mr. Malay
Moreover now adays we have variety of chemicals in the market. Specially
epoxy based or such similar chemicals for bonding of old concrete with the
new. For example I have successfully used Nitobond-EP of FOSROC for bonding
of old concrete to the new.
