After how many days of casting the concrete should be considered as "OLD". Can the concrete casted before 2-3 days be considered as OLD.
What are the views of members and does any code say something about this.

Even I fully agree with Mr. Malay Moreover now adays we have variety of chemicals in the market. Specially epoxy based or such similar chemicals for bonding of old concrete with the new. For example I have successfully used Nitobond-EP of FOSROC for bonding of old concrete to the new.
